Portuguese football club FC Arouca has announced how it has terminated the contract of Ugandan left back Kiiza Mustafa.
Through their social media handles, the club announced how it had come to a mutual understanding to terminate Kiiza Mustafa’s contract.
They procedded to wish him all the best in his next chapter.
“Futebol Clube de Arouca and the player Kizza reached an agreement for the friendly termination of the contract. We wish you future sporting and personal successes.”
This comes just after 5 months with Kiiza Mustafa joining the club which plays in the Primera League, Portugal’s top division.
The 22 year old was signed as a free agent from MLS side Montreal Impact.
Kiiza pledged to give his all shortly after signing for the team as he said “I am extremely honoured to join Arouca for the next three years,” Kizza wrote on his social media pages, adding: “I promise to give my very best to the club, who I thank for believing in me and the fans.”
It’s not yet clear why his contract was terminated and it’s waited to see his next move.
