Here’s the full 25 man CHAN squad named Cranes coach Micho

January 2, 2023

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic popularly known as Micho finally named his 25 man squad for the CHAN tournament.

It should be recalled that the Serbian initially named a 40 man provisional squad last month.

He then cut it to 30 and finally to 25 as the team traveled out of the country yesterday.

There were some surprise omissions from Micho’s squad including an in form Wakiso Giants winger Ibrahim Kasule.

Despite the 25 being taken with the national team, only 23 will make the final CHAN team and this must be submitted 20 days prior to the tournament kicking off.

“Of the twenty five 25 players travelling to Tunisia for the final buildups, only twenty three 23 players will be selected for the final squad for the TotalEnergies CHAN
The 23 players must be submitted 10 days before the start of the first matches.”
