Taking to his Twitter page, Mucureezi thanked everyone at the club from the coaches, administration, teammates and fans for making his stay in Kitende memorable.
Mucureezi added that working and playing at Vipers has been a true privilege for him that he can’t take for granted.
“THANK YOU NOTE: A big thank you to @VipersSC fraternity. My president, manager, coaches, fellow footballers and the fans.. I thank you for the opportunity given to me to be part of the great team .Like any great team, you encouraged me,assisted me, and made me better at what we do. Thank you for sharing the wins and losses, the triumphs and the tribulations. Working with you has been a true privilege. I am leaving you with a grateful heart. To my fans, I will announce my next step in the due course…God bless,” tweeted Mucureezi.
It should be recalled that Mucureezi joined the Kitede side on a 3 year deal in January 2020.
He joined the Venoms from Mbarara City where he had put up a number of exploits and impressive performances.
However, injury cut his time short at St Mary’s Kitende failing to live up to expectations despite the potential.
Mucureezi however won two Uganda Premier League trophies with Vipers (2019/20 and 2021-22).
