Arsenal legend Kolo Toure on how to beat Manchester City to the EPL title

Arsenal gave themselves a huge mountain to climb after squandering a 2-0 lead against West Ham yesterday in the English Premier league. And now their legend Kolo Toure has advised Mikel Arteta on how to beat their fiercest rivals, Manchester City.

The two title contenders are set to take to a clash that has been branded the title decider on the 26th of April. The game will be hosted by Manchester City at the Etihad stadium.

According to the former Gunners defender, Arsenal can inly beat Pep Guardiola‘s team through their wingers. He added that City’s flanks are quite open and the Gunners can capitalize on that.

He however added that this is also going to be difficult because City don’t lose balls easily. It’s therefore very hard to counter them.

“The space to hurt them when they play that system is on the sides. On the two sides we can see it is quite open.

“But, the problem with that, the thing that City does well, is that they’re very good on the ball and they don’t lose easy balls – it’s very hard to counter them.”

Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw against the Hammers. Just like in their previous game against Liverpool where they went 2-0 up, it was the same.

Quick goals from Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard looked like the Gunners were cruising to a comfortable win.

A Said Benrahma and Jarod Bowen goal dashed the Gunners hopes of extending their lead at the top.

They are now 4 points above City who have a game in hand and have to face each other. 

After the game, Arteta said that “Very disappointing. The way we started was superb again, to go 2-0 up and you have the game in total control.
