Final matchday drama- UPL adjusts time for final games

The Uganda Premier league (UPL) Secretariat has announced a change in time from 4:00 pm to 3:00pm in the kickoff of final match day.
This has been brought about after a competitive display put up by the top three teams in the title race this season.
SC Villa are on top of the Uganda Premier league (UPL) log with 52 points, Vipers are Second with 50 points while KCCA are third with 50 points.
Each team above has a chance to be crowned Champions and so the reduction in the time of kick off will enable a successful crowning ceremony at any venue of the club that will be champions.
” As we draw closer to the season’s end scheduled for Saturday 27th, May 2023, with one match left yet the difference between the top three clubs is just 2 points ; The UPL Secretariat has adjusted the kickoff time of match day 30 from 4:00 pm to 3:00pm”.
” This is done to enable us to hold a successful crowning event at any of the Venues for the Club that emerges Champions for the 2022/2023 Startimes Uganda Premier league”.

SC Villa who are on top with 52 points will play URA at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku in their last game.
On the other side, Vipers who are second with 50 points will play Busoga United at Kitende in their last game.
KCCA FC who are third on 50 points will finish with Soltilo Bright Stars at Lugogo in their last game.
