Vipers SC lands defender Grant Matsiko

Uganda Champions Vipers SC have confirmed the signing of right back Grant Matsiko from Wakiso Giants.

Grant Matsiko has put pen on paper a two year working contract with the Venoms.

The Club confirmed the development on their social media platforms.

” Vipers SC have completed the signing of right back Grant Matsiko on a two year employment contract, which will run till 2025″.

Grant Matsiko expressed his happiness and revealed how he wants to help the club win titles.

“l am very happy to be here and l want to win a lot with the club because it’s an amazing club, l want to be a big part of this club”.

“l have to level up and show another personality of me on the pitch because this is a demanding and ambitious team”.

Grant Matsiko was named in the best X1 of the concluded Uganda Premier league season and finished as the best right back.

He brings a lot of competition to assistant captain Ashraf Mandela in the right back position.

Grant Matsiko joined Wakiso Giants from Kigezi Homeboyz of Kabale.

He becomes the fifth signing of Vipers after David Bagoole, Richard Matovu, Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez and Luiz Otavio Santos.
