Timber out Cedric in- Arsenal unveils their 25 man squad for the UCL

September 12, 2023

Arsenal unveiled their squad for the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League group stafe games. According to a list submitted to UEFA Portuguese defender Cedric Soares was also included.

The former Southampton player seemed like he had fallen out of favor and down the pecking order as he spent last season on loan at Fulham.

It seemed the case this season with the arrival of Dutch international, Jurrien Timber. However a long term injury to Timber seems to have turned the tide around for the Portuguese.

Meanwhile another player who has seen his Arsenal career Mohammed Elneny was also included in the squad. Timber was left out and this is largely due to his injury that will keep him out of rhe big chunk of the season.

Arsenal however will have a chance to include him in rhe squad in January if they will have qualified for the groupstages.

Goalkeepers: Aaron Ramsdale, David Raya, James Hillson
