Photos- Ugandans react to the nearly completed Nakivubo stadium

City billionaire and businessman Ham Kiggundu yesterday provided an update about the ongoing works on Nakivubo stadium and it’s fair to say that there has been tremendous progress and the infrastructure is almost complete.
The artificial turf has already been planted in. The goal posts, corner flag amd lights were also installed and it’s just a few things to be added in so that the field can start getting used.
An aerial view of the stadium just shows how magnificent it is surrounded by different buildings in the city.

And of course Ugandans had an opinion about this structure. Whereas some complimented Ham for the work done, others were full of criticism.
“It’s fake until I reach there and see it with my eyes,” said one of the virtual observers.
