Startimes UPL:SC Villa targets first season win against NEC

Match day three of Startimes Uganda Premier League continues today on Friday with three games.
SC Villa will be hosting NEC FC at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
SC Villa comes into the game after failing to win any of their first two league games, they lost to Kitara in their opening game at Wankulukuku as well drawing with Maroons in their previous game.
On the other side, NEC will aim to maintain their 100% record having won both their two opening games including Mbarara City FC as well Busoga United.
NEC FC’S team captain Marvin Kavuma revealed on how the opponent won’t be easy but again aims for maximum points.
“We’re competing against seasoned league champions with a significant fan base. However, we’re undaunted; our objective is clear – secure a win”.
Hussein Mbalangu who is the head coach for NEC also revealed how the team is prepared to face on SC Villa.
“Facing record league champions requires utmost prepardness; our strategy remains consistent with our past games”.
Meanwhile in other games to be played, Gaddafi FC will be hosting inform Kitara FC UPDF FC will be hosting Wakiso Giants.
