Spanish football club Cadi CF which plays in the Laliga have begged Uganda Cranes captain Emma Okwi to sign for them. The Spanish team through one of their X pages ran riot yesterday on the social media platform.
They wished the country a happy 61st Independence anniversary.
Ugandans on X then started flocking the club’s page and interacting with the admin. It was here that admin further said that it would do some good to play a friendly match at the Nelson Mandela national stadium.
After that, the club added more juice to the story and tagged Uganda Cranes captain Emma Okwi. They revealed that it would be great to have him play for the club so that it can tap into the Ugandan fanbase.
Ths Uganda Cranes captain currently plays for Iraqi Premier League side Erbil SC. Emma Okwi to Cadiz though seems highly unlikely since the footballer is in the twilight of his career.
