Vipers SC played out a 1-1 draw with SC Villa in match day 4 at St Mary’s, Kitende.
The Visitors broke the deadlock first in the 7th minute through Gavin Kizito.
Vipers later picked momentum and created some chances that would level matters but SC Villa custodian Norman Angufidru was there for SC Villa rescue.
Bright Anukani had a beautiful free kick being saved in by Norman Angufidru.
Yunus Sentamu could also level matters in the closing minutes but his effort wa saved in by Norman.
In the second half, Vipers SC coach Leonard Martins Neiva made some changes replacing Anukani with Kambale.
In the 70th minute, Kambale had an opportunity to level only his close range shoot to get inches wide.
In the 78th minute, Patrick Mbowa headed in past Norman to gift his side a draw.
Vipers now moved to fourth place with 8 points while SC Villa moved to 7th place with 5 points.
Action resumes today on Saturday 21st with two games.
