Aaron Ramsdale presented with chance to reclaim Arsenal spot

Arsenal’s English goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale will be presented with the perfect opportunity to reclaim his spot as the club’s number one goalkeeper. The Gunners will be playing Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.

And since the club’s now number one goalkeeper, David Raya is on loan from Brentford, he can’t play against the Bees. This means that Ramsdale who has been limited to just 4 EPL appearances will be in the sticks.

The 23 year old hasn’t featured for the Gunners since September. This is after he was benched for the North London derby draw against Tottenham Hotspurs.

Although Raya, has played all the league games ever since then, he is yet to assert the spot as his. He’s made a number of errors which have proved to be costly.

Ramsdale will therefore utilize this chance. And give Mikel Arteta a real headache in selecting who to start in the next game. The former Bournemouth goalkeeper’s father recently slammed the Arsenal boss for taking away his son’s smile.
