Express Unveil New Coach Ahead Of Kampala Derby. Uganda Premier league side Express FC have unveiled anew coach ahead of the bitter Kampala derby with SC Villa.

The person unveiled is none other than Alex Isabirye Musongora. It should be recalled that Vipers sacked their head coach, James Odoch this week following a draw with table leaders BUL.

Apparently, the Mukwano Gwabangi side had been posting poor results thus the decision to sack Odoch who replaced Wasswa Bbosa a year and a half ago.

Earlier on, the Wankulukuku based side had revealed that former Cranes international, Hassan Mubiru would be in charge of the club but this decision was rescinded.

And now Isabirye who is not new to Ugandan football will take over the. His first task is the today’s Clash against SC Villa in the Kampala derby.

Both sides use the Muteesa II stadium for their home games. However, it will be the original owners of the pitch, Express hosting the Jogoos.

Additionally both Villa and Express have 13 points after 9 games. Villa is in 6th while Express lies in 7th. Furthermore, Isabirye needs no introduction to the Ugandan football terrain.

He is one of the most successful managers. While at BUL FC, he won the Stanbic Uganda Cup before crossing to Vipers where he won a league and Stanbic Uganda Cup.
