Ugandan Teenage Striker John Paul Dembe Loaned By Swedish Side

Striker John Paul Dembe of Swedish powerhouse BK Häcken has been loaned to IK Oddevold. This plays in the second division until the summer. Dembe has been loaned to a competitive team in order to gain playing time.
After leaving KCCA FC in the summer, the 18-year-old striker has only played in five games with the Häcken Senior Team.
Instead, he participated in the U19 League with the Häcken U19 Team, where he scored 10 goals in eight games.
” I hope to score a lot of goals and come back a better player, ” Dembe said following his loan move.
After drawing a lot of attention at the 2023 AFCON U20 competition in Egypt, John Paul Dembe signed a short-term loan. This was an agreement with Häcken from KCCA. He then moved permanently in December of last year, signing a four-year contract.
Known as The Superettan from the third tier, his new team, IK Oddevold, is a recently promoted second tier team.
On March 30, the 2024 Superettan will begin. On March 31, IK Oddevold will play their first league matchup against Trelleborg FF.
