Shafik Nana Kwikiriza, a left-footed winger for BUL FC, has agreed to a three-year contract with KCCA FC, according to credible sources.
Kwikiriza is one of the most intriguing young players that graced the Uganda Premier League in the just-completed season. He attends Jinja Progressive Academy.
In his 11 games for Mbale Heroes, where he was featured as a double licensed player, and the Jinja-based team, he showed flashes of brilliance.
Notably, Kwikiriza attracted attention when BUL FC defeated Wakiso Giants 3-0 at Kabaka Kyabaggu. He gave Martin Aprem two assists and was later chosen man of the match.
After a poor start and a strong finish to the season, KCCA is anticipated to rearrange their starting lineup. One move they made to strengthen their offensive line was to add Kwikiriza.
It has already been confirmed on this page that KCCA is close to signing Gaddafi FC midfielder Steven Munguchi.
