James Maddison dropped from England Squad by Gareth Southgate

James Maddison has left the Three Lions camp after being left out of England’s 26-man team for Euro 2024.
The midfield player for Tottenham is the first player from Gareth Southgate’s initial 33-man team to be left off of the final roster for the competition in Germany.
An hour after England’s final Euro 2024 warm-up match against Iceland at Wembley, Southgate must narrow down his extended group of twenty-six players by 11 p.m. on Friday.
England’s Euro 2024 campaign kicks off against Serbia on June 16.
Despite being included in the final 26 2022 World Cup squad in Qatar, James Maddison has yet to play a major competition with England; he was left off the field before to the Three Lions’ quarterfinal elimination.
