Uganda Cranes learn of their 2025 AFCON fixture program

Fixture program. The TotalEngergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 Qualifiers schedule has been confirmed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Uganda was placed in Group K in the draw that took place last week, along with South Africa, the 1996 African champion, and the neighboring countries of South Sudan and Congo Brazzaville.
The fixtures have been made public, and they show that the qualifiers will start in early September and end in November 2024.
On September 2, Uganda Cranes will play their first game of the season away against 1996 Africa champions South Africa.
Uganda’s match against Congo Brazzaville is set for Tuesday, the 10th of that same month.
After that, on October 7, Uganda will play host to South Sudan, its neighbors, before returning to Sudan on October 15 of the same month.
Paul Put’s team will host South Africa on November 11 and play Congo away on Tuesday, November 19, to wrap out their qualification campaign.
In the previous two seasons, the Uganda Cranes were not selected to compete in the championship match.
