Uganda Cranes clash against Congo Brazzaville to be played under Namboole floodlights

On September 9, the Uganda Cranes will play the Congo Brazzaville on match day two of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
At 7:00 p.m., the game will take place at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole under the floodlights.

On September 2, 2024, the Uganda Cranes will visit 1996 African champions South Africa before playing Congo.
Uganda was included in Group K of the qualifying campaign, along with South Africa, Congo Brazzaville, and South Sudan, three neighboring countries.

Following their match against Congo, Uganda will host South Sudan on October 7 before traveling back to Sudan on October 15 for their rematch.

Paul Put’s team will host South Africa on November 11 and play Congo away on Tuesday, November 19, to wrap out their qualification campaign.

In the previous two seasons, the Uganda Cranes were not selected to compete in the championship match.
