In the FUFA Super 8 quarterfinal on Saturday in Lugogo, Kitara FC defeated KCCA FC by a slim margin of 1-0 to seize a first-leg advantage.

At Lugogo, the Uganda Cranes Select side overcame a goal deficit to defeat SC Villa, the winners of the Uganda Premier League, 2-1.
Arnold Odong gave SC Villa the lead in the twenty-five minute, but it was short-lived as Select was given a dubious penalty by referee George Olemu.
Olemu determined that Edward Masembe, a Villa defender, had fouled Isaac Ogwang in the prohibited area.
The team led by Sam Ssimbwa regained parity through Ogwang, and in the 79th minute, Godfrey Ssekibengo clinched the comeback victory.
