The transfer of striker Sam Ssenyonjo from Soltilo Bright Stars to Express FC is already finalized.
Following the conclusion of the previous campaign, Ssenyonjo’s contract with the Soltilo Bright Stars terminated, making him a free agent.
After Isaac Wagoina joined BUL FC, he is anticipated to be given the responsibility of being the team’s main goal scorer.
Former Uganda Hippos striker Ssenyonjo made his debut with KCCA FC during the 2019–20 campaign.
Prior to spending the last two seasons with Soltilo Bright Stars, he had a loan stint with the Wakiso Giants in the 2021–2022 season.
He competed for the Hippos in the 2021 AFCON U20 competition, which was held in Mauritania, and the squad won silver.
Ssenyonjo has joined Express’s expanding group of recent hires, which also includes midfielder Emmanuel Alex Wasswa, who was brought in from KCCA FC.
Derrick Ngoobi, a defender, has also rejoined Express following a brief six-month stay at Sofapaka FC in Kenya.
In addition, Geoffrey Gagganga from CATDA FC was signed after his outstanding performance in the University Football League with UCU.
