Kylian Mbappe on the score sheet as he bags first trophy with Real Madrid

After scoring in his Real Madrid debut against Atalanta to help the team win a record-tying sixth Uefa Super Cup, Kylian Mbappe declared that there is “no limit” to what he and the team can accomplish together.
After spending a trophy-filled season at Paris St-Germain, the captain of France finally made the move that had been years in the making this summer when he signed with Real Madrid.
And even though he had just returned to training a little over a week ago, it took the record goalscorer for PSG less than 70 minutes to make his first statement of intent for the upcoming campaign. He finished clinically to guarantee a winning start and more awards for his new employers.
“It was a great night – I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time,” Mbappe told Movistar, in fluent Spanish.
“To play with this shirt, with this badge, for these fans, it’s a gift for me.”
As manager Carlo Ancelotti has access to players like Vinicius Jr., Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, and Endrick, the signing of Mbappe—possibly the best attacking player in the world—has only made the reigning European and Spanish champions stronger.
Mbappe emphasized that they are capable of big things as they begin the new campaign.
“We are at Real Madrid, we have no limit. If I can score 50, then 50, but the most important thing is winning and improving as a team, because we will win as a team,” Mbappe added.
The England midfielder Bellingham, who set up a goal for his new teammate and was instrumental in Real’s triumph over the Serie A squad, continued: “He’s just one of those players, he’s brilliant.
“So sharp. So much technical quality. A great team-mate as well. He works for the team, like the rest of the lads. Credit to him, and he deserves it tonight.”
