Kampala Queens FC, a team in the FUFA Women Super League, announced a sponsorship deal with Jonard Conglomerate Investments Limited on Tuesday.
The 200 million shilling deal was unveiled at a reception at the Jevine Hotel in Rubaga, Kampala, and is expected to last for two years.
“Kampala Queens Football Club is thrilled to announce a two-year partnership with Jonard Conglomerate Investments Limited as the club’s official partner. The collaboration, which runs until 2026, is valued at UGX 200 million, with Jonard Conglomerate committing UGX 100 million each year.” Reads a statement from the club.
The team also presented their new uniform for the 2024–2025 campaign at the same ceremony.
Under the terms of this agreement, Jonard Conglomerate Investments Limited will exclusively sponsor Kampala Queens FC’s jerseys.
The marriage with the Kampala Queens, according to Jonard Asiimwe, President of Jonard Conglomerate Investments Limited, highlights the company’s dedication to promoting sports.
“Our commitment towards promoting sports and football in this country is well known because we have a number of other teams we work with. I believe this partnership with Kampala Queens was timely and will bear fruits because we share similar aspirations,” he said.
