URA FC made a strong return to form with a decisive 3-0 win against the struggling Wakiso Giants at Wakisha. Godfrey Ssekibengo netted the opening goal for the Tax Collectors just three minutes before halftime following a delivery from Moses Aliro.
In the 58th minute, Ivan Ahimbisibwe, who scored twice, further increased URA’s lead with a composed finish after an effort from Abraham Tusubira.
Ahimbisibwe added another goal in the 65th minute into an open net, assisted by Aliro, bringing the score to 3-0 for the Tax Collectors.
This defeat means Wakiso Giants have now gone seven matches without a win.
Over the last seven matches, they have conceded 14 goals while managing to score just once, leaving them in 13th place with nine points.
They will face Police FC next on Wednesday, December 4th, at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.
The victory lifted URA FC to fifth place with 14 points, and they will next compete against NEC FC on Thursday, December 5th, at Nakivubo.
In another match of the day, UPDF FC and Police FC concluded their game in a 2-2 draw.
Bashir Kabuye scored twice for UPDF FC, while Bukenya Allan and Aggrey Kirya (own goal) found the net for The Cops.
