Denis Omedi, a striker for Kitara FC and Uganda Cranes, has recently shown interest in joining Vipers SC. According to reports, Omedi is expected to finalize his transfer to Brunei DPMM FC of the Singapore Premier League.
The Kitara shooter, who hasn’t played for the Royals since November 22nd, is expected to go to Singapore soon. Although this website is aware that Vipers view Omedi as the missing component of their offensive line, it is thought that their attempt to win the Puskas Award nominee may come a bit too late.
While Kitara FC has publicly stated that they are willing to sell the Cranes Star only at the appropriate price, Omedi still has a few months left on his contract.
Omedi received a double nomination for Best Goal of the Year at the FIFA and CAF Awards, making him maybe the most sought-after Ugandan player this season. In addition to helping Kitara win the Stanbic Uganda Cup and scoring 15 league goals, he was instrumental in helping Uganda Cranes qualify back to the AFCON.
His next stop is the Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Football Club (DPMM FC), which is controlled by Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince of Brunei. DPMM FC was established forty years ago and has won the Brunei championship twice.
