Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal actively looking for a striker
January 14, 2025
The January transfer window has been open for a fortnight, but Arsenal remains silent. Mikel Arteta has decided not to add a new member to his squad as it stands.
However, with the North London side going through a difficult time, all of that could change. They were knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United this weekend, and their chances of winning the Premier League and Carabao Cup are dwindling.
Following Gabriel Jesus’ injury, they may be looking for a striker. Many names have previously been connected with moves to the Emirates Stadium.
Remaining with Juventus, they might be able to solve Arsenal’s striker problems by making a move for a former target. Juve striker Dusan Vlahovic is a long-term aim for the Gunners, according to Tuttosport via IlBianconero.
And following Jesus’ injury, they might become interested in him again. The 24-year-old Vlahovic has made 23 appearances for Juventus this season, scoring 12 goals.
However, Arsenal will take into account other strikers in addition to him. According to reports, Manchester United is also considering hiring PSG star Randal Kolo-Muani.
