Charles Bbaale, a striker, has formally left Rayon Sports, a team in the Rwanda Premier League. With six months remaining on his contract, Bbaale departs the Rwandan team following a one and a half-season stay.
After an outstanding season with SC Villa in the Uganda Premier League, he joined Rayon Sports at the beginning of the previous campaign. Rayon Sports defeated opponents APR FC 3-0 in the 2023 FERWAFA Super Cup, and Bbaale will be remembered for leading the Gikundiro to success.
Coach Robertinho has used Bbaale little this season, so he spent the last few minutes of the first round in Kampala. His two league goals against Musanze FC and Gasogi United this season have been his main contribution.
The departure of Bbaale intensifies Rayon Sports’ pursuit of free agency forward Fahad Bayo of the Uganda Cranes.
