SC Villa sign Bright Stars striker Ashraf Mulindi

Bright Stars forward Ashiraf Mulindi has officially joined Uganda Premier League winners SC Villa. As far as this website is aware, Mulindi has signed a three-year contract with the 17-time League winners.

This comes after Villa lost out on Umar Lutalo, a former player, who signed with KCCA FC. Hakim Kiwanuka joined Rwanda’s APR this transfer window, leaving a hole that Mulindi, a former Kataka FC player, is anticipated to fill.

Mulindi has two goals this season and three league goals last season, including one against his current team. In addition to Kiwanuka, SC Villa also let go of defender Edward Masembe and winger Peter Onzima, whose contracts were terminated.

With 20 points, SC Villa placed seventh in the first round. On Tuesday, February 11, they will go to Wakiso Giants FC, who are having a difficult season.
