Express complete signing of Charles Ssembalirwa

Charles Ssembalirwa, a former forward for SC Villa, has signed a two-year contract with Express FC. During the 2022–2023 season, when the Jogoos lost the league title on the last day of play, Ssebwalirwa played for SC Villa.

He has previously played in the Airtel Masaza Cup for Ssingo, Kyetume FC, and Lugazi Municipal, among other teams. Geoffrey Gagganga, who also joined the Red Eagles from CATDA FC of the Kampala Regional League, is Ssembalirwa’s teammate.

Under Baker Mbowa’s guidance, Express has started preparing for the next season. Additionally, the Red Eagles will play for Uganda in the CECAFA Kagame Cup, which will take place this month in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
