In an attempt to make a comeback for Arsenal, Bukayo Saka is speeding up his recuperation from his hamstring injury. Saka has not played since December, when he had surgery to heal a damaged hamstring.
However, in order to strengthen their effort to challenge Liverpool for the Premier League title and advance further in the Champions League, Arsenal hopes Saka will be prepared to return in March.
After being spotted using crutches at the Emirates Stadium less than a month ago, Saka is now in Dubai with the Arsenal team and is continuing his rehabilitation there. Arsenal shared images of Saka smiling while working out in the gym on Monday, writing, “Stepping up that rehab.”
Saka wants to return at the beginning of March, according to new claims that surfaced over the weekend. Saka is reportedly aiming for an Arsenal comeback for their March 4 or 5 Champions League last 16 first leg or their March 9 trip to Manchester United.
On December 21, the 23-year-old hurt his right hamstring at Crystal Palace. Mikel Arteta stated that Saka will be sidelined for “more than two months” following surgery.
After a demanding schedule for both club and country in recent seasons, the Arsenal manager made it plain that he wanted Saka to take advantage of the opportunity to take a vacation. Saka has been with the club as much as possible, but the England star was absent while Arsenal played Wolves and Girona on the road.
Arteta responded, “Yes, he needs to,” when asked last month if he was pleased Saka was taking a vacation. He must travel, either alone, with his family, or with his lover. He has a choice.
