After leaving Kenya’s Vihiga Queens, Ruth Aturo, the goalkeeper for the Crested Cranes, was formally introduced by Tanzanian team Tausi Women FC. Throughout the first round of the current season, Aturo has been a star player for Vihiga Queens, with an incredible seven clean sheets.
Her recent side Formerly known as Ukerewe Queens, Tausi WFC is a driven team that plays in the second division in the goal of being promoted to the top division. Maria Ruiz, a Spanish coach, was recently appointed head coach of Tausi FC. They have added a number of seasoned players to their roster.
