Soltilo Bright Stars and Vipers have seen their striker and coach respectively crowned the winners of the monthly Uganda Premier League best performers.
The Bright Stars forward after netting 5 goals, one assist and 3 man of the match awards was crowned the best player for the month of November.
He shrugged off competition from Wakiso Giants’ Ibrahim Kasule and Gaddafi’s Alex Kitata.
On the other hand, Vipers coach Roberto Oliveira saw off competition from KCCA’S Morley Byekwaso and Wakiso Giants’ John Ayala Luyinda to win the coach of the month award.
Robertinho led Vipers to a 7 game unbeaten run in November collecting 19 points from a possible 21.
In the 7 games, Vipers won 6 games against Arua Hill and URA beating them 1-0 each.
The Venoms also beat UPDF 4-0, Maroons 3-0 and SC Villa 2-0 while they drew 1-1 with Wakiso Giants.
This saw fans vote Robertinho hence winning the vote with a 33%.
October’s awards were scooped by BUL’s coach amd player, coach Alex Isabirye and striker Richard Wandyaka.
