December 16, 2022

FUFA has announced how the suspension that had been put on Uganda Premier League club, SC Villa has been lifted.

This was done after the Jogoos availed 7 suspects suspected to have taken in the hooliganism that happened last month as Villa played Wakiso Giants in the UPL.

FUFA had prescribed a 2 point and 2 goal deduction onto the Jogoos.

It should be recalled that there was blood shed in the game played on 11th November between SC Villa and Wakiso Giants at the Muteesa II stadium in Wankulukuku.

The list availed by SC Villa to Uganda Police and the Competitions Disciplinary Panel include the likes of Mukwasi Bashir, Geoffrey a.k.a Natette, Lutaya a.k.a  Kabaliga, Shafik, Irene, Kasule Peter and Bugembe a.k.a Ruster Body.

Villa will now record a statement with the Uganda Police and Competitions Disciplinary Panel according to FUFA.

This means that SC Villa would be going to 25 points and into the second position from 5th one behind KCCA the table leaders and one above SC Vipers who all have a game in hand.
