With the January transfer window already open, teams have already started signing players that they think will help them for the remainder of the season.
And it’s no different in the Ugandan Premier League.
Sources now have it that UPL side, URA FC have completed the signing of Wakiso Giants midfielder Joshua Lubwama.
It’s added that Lubwama signed a 2 year contract with the Tax collectors from the Purple Sharks.
Lubwama will be unveiled soon as a new URA player.
With a lackluster season in the league, URA is already proving to be busy in this transfer window.
The club has already brought striker Bruno Bunyaga to the Arena of Visions.
Bunyaga was signed from Bushenyi Veterans on a 3 year contract.
The club lost a number of high profile names in the recent transfer window including star striker, Cromwell Rwothomio who joined Vipers.
URA is in the 11th position in the league and have accumulated 14 points from 14 games.
URA FC also recently lost their captain Shafik Kagimu after unresolved differences with the club’s hierarchy.
