Uganda Cranes are taking on Niger today on 7th, September in a do or die tie in AFCON Qualifiers.
It is a do or die tie because Uganda will only need a win and then pray for Tanzania to lose against Algeria.
Uganda comes into the game occupied in the 3rd place with 4 points while Tanzania in the 2nd with 7 points, Algeria occupies the 1st place with maximum points from five games.
The first leg between Uganda and Niger ended 1-1 at St Mary’s Kitende.
“As players, we are ready to put our bodies online inorder to achieve the target which is qualification to AFCON in Ivory coast next year” USA based attacking midifielder Ibrahim Owen Baba Kasule told the media before the game.
Micho stands a chance to play offensive after summoning alot of quality and on form attacking players including Ibrahim Kasule, Laban Tibita, Rogers Mato as well Frank Seebufu.
If Uganda fails to qualify, it will be the second consecutive edition having failed in 202.
The Uganda Cranes last qualified in 2019 and 2017.
