Uganda Cranes winger Allan Okello has parted ways his Algerian club, AC Paradou which he joined a couple of years back.
Okello through his social media pages revealed that he had come to a mutual agreement with the club to terminate his contract. And this is the best decision for his future.
“I want to express my gratitude to Paradou AC for the journey we’ve had together. After careful consideration, we have mutually agreed to terminate my contract,” read part of the players statement.
“This decision was not made lightly, and it comes after extensive reflection on both my personal and professional aspirations. I believe this is the right step for both parties, and I’m excited for the next chapter in my career.”
“I want to thank the fans, my teammates, and everyone at the club for their support throughout my time here. I will always cherish the memories we’ve created together. Wishing the club continued success in the future.”
Okello departed KCCA FC in 2020 from KCCA for a reported $20,000 (around Shs 700m). This is after he had put some explosive perfomances for the club.
His playing time at Paradou however was limited as he struggled to fit into the new environment. Eventually he was loaned back to KCCA for last season where he seemed to rediscover his form once again.
For now his next move is unknown but we shall keep you posted.
