Juventus Delivers Blow To Arsenal’s Interest In Dusan Vlahovic

Italian Giants Juventus have delivered a huge blow to English Premier league side, Arsenal amidst their interest in striker, Dusan Vlahovic. The Gunners have been linked to the Serbian for a number of seasons now.

The Gunners in fact launched a bid for the 23 year old when he was still at Fiorentina. However, he chose Juventus over the Gunners because of Champions League football back then.

However, ever since he joined the Old Lady, he’s never been that consistent. With Mikel Arteta’s strikers firing blanks, Arsenal are believed to be in the hunt for a striker.

And Vlahovic once again finds himself at the center of speculation for the Gunners. However, Juventus’ director said that they don’t know about anything of Arsenal’s bid for their star man.

Besides he’s not for sale as he’s part of the Italian club’s long term plans. So far this season, the Serbian striker has scored 7 goals for the Massimiliano Allegro’s side in all competitions.

Arsenal have dropped 10 points out of the possible 15 in their last five games. Their title charge seems to be slipping away slowly. Currently, they sit in 4th five points behind league leaders, Liverpool.

Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah have all been firing blanks and many don’t think the duo can lead the Gunners to league glory. The North London club last won the EPL in 2004 with the Invincibles side.

They came close last season but faltered towards the end of the season. Apparently this season hadn’t gone badly but after the first round of games, things don’t look rosy for Mikel Arteta.
