Paul Mucureezi, an offensive midfielder, has completed his signing with NEC FC, a team in the Uganda Premier League.
It is understood that Mucureezi has signed a two-year contract to work for NEC FC.
Mucureezi’s Kitara FC contract expired at the end of the previous season, leaving him a free agent.
At Kitara FC, he played a vital role in the side’s Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph.
He also featured for both Uganda Premier league giants KCCA FC and Vipers SC as well as Mbarara City FC.
Mucureezi joins his former KCCA FC teammates at NEC who are Benjamin Ochan and Muzamir Mutyaba.
The Hussein Mbalangu coached side also signed goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Amir Kakomo, Patrick Bayiga, Jacob Okao, Isma Kawawulo and Dickson Niwamanya among others.
