As previously reported by several news circles, goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya has returned to Vipers SC, the six-time Uganda Premier League champions.
Ssekagya has rejoined Kitende and signed a three-year contract that will keep him working for the team until 2026–2027.
Before joining Kenya Premier League team Wazito FC in 2021, he played for Vipers from 2018 to 2021.
In the Uganda Premier League, he has previously played for UPDF FC and, more recently, Wakiso Giants.
Three other goalkeepers at Vipers, Jack Komakech, Alfred Macumu Mudekereza, and Denis Kiggundu, will fight alongside Ssekagya for a starting position.
The following players have already signed with the Venoms: right back Nicholas Wadada, Pedro Sukuya Chimbiambiulo, Derrick Ndahiro, Gusto Mulongo, and Kenneth Kimera.
