SC Villa names their club captains for the 2024-25 season

Ronald Ssekiganda has been named captain of SC Villa, the champions of the Uganda Premier League, for the next 2024–25 season.
Kenneth Semakula, who won the league title in May but left after his contract expired to join Club Africain, a massive Tunisian team, is replaced by Ssekiganda.
At the beginning of the previous season, Semakula took over as captain for the 17-time league champions, replacing Gift Fred.
The immediate vice captain is David Owori, and the third and fourth assistants are goalkeepers Jeans Braddy Wokorach and Meddie Kibirige, respectively.
The Jogoos will concentrate on defending their league title in the upcoming season after they are eliminated from the CAF Champions League.
On September 16, they will take on Mbarara City FC at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole to start their title defense at home.
