Netflix. PATRICE EVRA caught fans off guard with a sharp joke aimed at Arsenal.
The Manchester United icon didn’t hold back as he joined his friend and former teammate Rio Ferdinand on the podcast.
Evra spent much of the discussion focusing on United’s decision to dismiss Erik ten Hag.
However, he couldn’t resist taking a jab at Arsenal after a Gunners supporter joined them for a spirited exchange.
As both parties argued their positions on who would have the more successful season, Evra delivered a ruthless Netflix-themed quip about Arsenal.
The Gunners are well-known for allowing themselves to be filmed for a behind-the-scenes documentary, which was released on Amazon Prime Video, a competitor of Netflix.
Evra compared Arsenal’s recent title-contending performance to the anticipation of a new season of a popular series.
Evra stated: “ Watching Arsenal is like watching Netflix.“You always have to wait for the next season!“Trust me, every season is going to be like that so don’t even get involved. “I’m really nice, peaceful. Of course, United right now is a disaster.
“But please don’t speak about Arsenal because now, what, you’re going to cry for the referee, come on.”
Supporters had varied responses to Evra’s remarks.
