Express FC will play Total FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 on Wednesday, traveling to Yumbe with a reduced roster. Badru Kaddu, the head coach of Express FC, has been hit by four injuries before the journey to Yumbe.
Due to their respective ailments, the Red Eagles will be without defender Derrick Ngoobi, winger Richard Basangwa, and captain Emmanuel Alex Wasswa.
Express FC defeated Red Devo 1-0 to go to the round of 32 and are joint competition winners with ten trophies. After defeating Arua Hill in the last round, Total advanced to this point and will be looking to upset the Red Eagles.
In the other match on Wednesday, SC Villa will travel to Gayaza to play Mbale Heroes’ tormentors, Simba FC. Buhimba Saints, who defeated nonleague team Football Classroom in the previous round, will face the Rwenzori Lions.
