The dates for the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 fixtures have been confirmed by the competitions department of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).
Two of the matches will be played under floodlights, and the games will take place from Monday, March 17, to Wednesday, March 19. On Monday, the 17th, the Maroons will play Police FC, a team in the Uganda Premier League, at Prisons Grounds in Luzira, while Gaddafi FC, a major league team, will play holders Kitara FC at Entebbe Works playground.
Ten-time winners KCCA FC will play the Rwenzori Lions on Tuesday, March 18, under the floodlights of Lugogo Stadium, while Lugazi FC will host nine-time league winners SC Villa at Lugazi FC Stadium.
Tuesday’s other matchup will pit 2022 champion BUL FC against Total FC, who defeated Express FC.
On Wednesday, the 19th, URA FC will play Kataka FC for a spot in the quarterfinals at Nakivubo Stadium, while Kaaro Karungi FC will face UPDF FC at Kyamate playground. Under the floodlights of Kitende, the three-time competition champions Vipers SC will play the NEC FC tormentors Blacks Power in the last round of 16.
