Breaking news; Vipers parts ways with Brazilian coach Robertinho

The reigning champions of the Uganda Premier League Vipers SC have shockingly announced how the club has parted ways with their Brazilian tactician, Roberto Oliveira aka Robertinho.

Vipers didn’t provide further details as to why he had left his role.

The Kitende based side thanked Robertinho for his tireless efforts while at St Mary’s stadium.

Further, the club also stated that it shall be announcing the club’s technical bench quickly.

“Vipers Sports Club announces that Mr. Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho has left his role as the head coach with immediate effect.

The club would like to thank Robertinho for his tireless efforts as the head coach during his time at the club and wish him success in the future.

The Club shall in the shortest time possible come out with a statement on the technical bench leadership following the coach’s departure.”

This was his second season at the club having replaced Fred Kajoba in August 2021.

The former Gor Mahia tactician guided the Venoms to a league title and the Stanbic Uganda cup during his time at the club.

He also saw the club advance to the group stages of the CAF Champions League after attempting 5 times but all with failure.
