Uganda Cranes defender Aziz Kayondo who plays for MLS side Real Monarchs has come out to reveal the difference between professional footballers and local footballers back in Uganda.

While appearing on NBS Sport, Kayondo says that these pros know what they want from a tender age.

They are usually monitored and are also cautious of their lifestyle.

The teams of these footballers know almost all their movements.

However, for Ugandans, they are always in bars and other hangout spots after games yet they have training the following day.

“What these people have better than us is that they know what they want right from a tender age.
They are monitored right from the academies and their teams know that he will be here after here. However you find our footballers here in a bar after a game yet they have training the following day. So these people are well aware and cautious of their lifestyle,” said Aziz Kayondo.

Kayondo also said that at professional level, they play under instructions.

Therefore a foreign player has to use every chance given to him to produce results.

This is because a coach won’t spend much time on a foreigner yet they also have their own talents to promote.

The footy ace also appreciated his former club for the platform given to him that propelled him to where his is now.
