Uganda Premier League champions Vipers of last season look set to bolster their attacks.
This is after they have been linked to BUL FC striker Karim Ndugwa.
Ndugwa who is one of the leading goalscorers of the 2022-2023 season is said to be in advanced talks with the Venoms.
The striker has been in superb form for the Jinja based side and no wonder he’s attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in the league.
Ndugwa has previously played for clubs like SC Villa, URA FC, Express FC, AFC Leopards in Kenya, Wakiso Giants, Mbarara City, Horseed in Somalia, Onduparaka and Victors.
“Vipers SC are in advanced stages to sign striker Karim Ndugwa from BUL FC . He has previously played for a number of clubs including SC Villa, URA FC, Express FC, AFC Leopards in Kenya, Wakiso Giants, Mbarara City, Horseed in Somalia, Onduparaka and Victors.”
Karim Ndugwa signed for the soap makers in January 2022.
He had penned a one year deal at the Kyabazinga stadium expiring in January 2023.
With his reluctance to pen a new deal with last season’s Uganda cup winners, Vipers are likely to acquire his services on a free.
Vipers could also be hunting for a striker after their sharpshooter Yunus Ssentamu being linked to both TP Mazembe and Simba SC.
