With the January transfer window raging on, Tanzanian side Young Africans aka Yanga FC have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Ugandan midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga.
Yanga had showed great interest in the former Vipers player.
Belief had started to grow amongst Yanga faithfuls about getting Bobosi’s signature.
However, according to East African transfer guru Eric Ndagijimana, Bobosi won’t be joining Yanga.
This is after his club MFK Vyskov denied him the permission to join the Tanzanian league leaders.
Bobosi is now expected to join the Czech Republic club to finish the remaining 6 months of his contract.
“Yanga plan to sign Bobosi has failed after the player’s agent confirmed that permission to leave his team was not obtained. Bobosi will officially return to his club MFK VYSKOV to finish the remaining 6 months of his contract and then he will join club in summer.”
Bobosi left Vipers at the end of the 2021-22 season.
He joined Vyskov but the nature of his transfer was not clear.
Bobosi hasn’t played any game for the club since the transfer.
It’s not yet clear what happened but it’s speculated that all this arose from working permits and travel documents.
Bobosi has severally been cited in the country and at one time at Vipers training facility in Kitende.
