Uganda Revenue Authority FC (URA) looks to be one of the busiest clubs in the ongoing January transfer window.
The club has already seen a number of incomings and also outgoings.
Now the latest seems to be forward, Derrick Nsibambi.
The striker who joined the tax collectors at the start of the current transfer season has joined Albashaer Club in Oman.
The forward who was signed to fill the shoes left by URA’s sharpshooter Stephen Desse Mukwala barely lived up to the expectations.
Derrick Nsibambi netted just two goals in his time at the Arena of Visions.
The most memorable of these was his goal with his first touch in the 1-1 draw against his former side, KCCA FC after being brought on as a substitute in the 60th minute.
The other goal was in the 4-0 thumping of Busoga United.
His contract at the tax collectors was however never revealed especially it’s length.
Sam Timbe’s side have already signed forward Bruno Bunyaga from Bushenyi Veterans and might as well add another one to compete with George Ssenkaba and Ibrahim Dada.
URA have also signed midfielder Nicholas Kabonge who has been a free agent on a 2 year deal.
The club currently has 14 points from 14 games and languishes in the 11th position.
They will resume league action on 11th February against bottom placed Onduparaka at the Green light Ababet stadium.
