It has been a week with mixed emotions for Kitende based side, Vipers SC.
And these have largely been positive ones. The club announced a new coach, Beto Bianchi replacing Robertinho who recently joined Simba SC.
Vipers have also made a couple of signings such as Martin Kiiza, Karim Ndugwa and Serge Robert Mwenge whilst seeing Paul Mucureezi exit the club.
On the sad note, the club has announced how one of their players, striker Darcy Mbaka Kipoyi lost his wife.
The Congolese forwards wife Niclette Soyi passed away in Kinshasa, DR Congo.
No further details were provided by Vipers as they sent out their heartfelt condolences to the footballer.
“We pass on our heart-felt condolences to our player, Darcy Mbaka Kipoyi, on the passing of his wife, Niclette Soye, in Kinshasa, DR Congo. Our thoughts are with him and family at this trying moment.”
Darcy Mbaka Kipoyi joined the Venoms last year in October on a 2 year deal.
He in fact joined the club alongside fellow Congolese, midfielder Gracia Mpongo Mbombo.
