U-turn: Wakiso Giants winger Ibrahim Owen Kasule joins Turkish side

New confirmed sources indicate how Wakiso Giants winger Ibrahim Owen Kasule has joined U19 Turkish side Ankara Keciorengucu.

Ibrahim Kasule has joined the club on a 3 and half years contract.

He’s expected to train with the senior team for a few months.

Unconfirmed sources had had rumors speculating on how he’s set to join American Major League Next Pro side New York Red Bulls II.

It was also said that he would join the club alongside his teammate Frank Ssebufu.

Further it was said that former Cranes skipper and New York Red Bulls II coach Ibrahim Sekagya was part of the negotiations.

Kasule who registered 5 goals and 5 assists in the 14 games played in the first round of the UPL was arguably the best player.

He was even dropped from the 2023 CHAN tournament as he processed his paper works to go abroad.
