It should be recalled that after parting ways with Vipers last month, Mucureezi was rumored with clubs such as URA and Express.
He however chose to forego top flight football in favor of Kitara.
And he has revealed that it’s the way forward he was showed that made him sign for them.
According to Mucureezi, he’s ready to give his all to the club.
“I’m so happy to be part of Kitara FC. It’s a club that has been able to show me what they want. I have the same intentions or if not better intentions. A club with good intentions is worth having a player with good intentions as well. I’m really humbled to be here and hope to give them the best as they reciprocate too,” said the former Mbarara City and KCCA footballer while being unveiled by Kitara.
New Kitara FC coach Sam Ssimbwa confirmed his new technical team and assistant coach Hamza Lutalo.
The experienced tactician said that he’s worked with a number of these before who were appointed by Kitara to work with him.
He also added that they will try to make sure that they groom other coaches in the area.
This will help them to leave another generation of coaches once they are gone.
Ssimbwa went ahead to say that his technical team will be beefed up to at least 10 people once they gain promotion to the top flight league.
Kitara currently top the FUFA Big League side ahead of the resume of the second round of games.
